November is one of my favorite months simply because I love sharing what all I have to be thankful for. Every year I have a couple of constants that are at the top of my thankfulness list - one of them being each and every amazing person that I have worked with this year and previously. Words cannot express to them enough how appreciative I am for putting their trust in me, it’s a pretty big deal and I do not take lightly to it! I enjoy nothing more than meeting such amazing individuals and their families and them allowing me a glimpse into their life. I love being able to help these wonderful people in finding their new homes and selling their old. I have been so so fortunate to cross paths with each and every one of them, I would not be where I am today without them - so THANK YOU!
One of my big topics this month (aside from thankfulness) that I touched on was getting your home ready for Winter! The following are tasks that can improve the function of your home during the cold months. Be sure to clean out your gutters and down spouts - rid them of leaves that may have fallen in, debris will freeze and cause major blockage! Examine all doors and windows in your home for any air gaps, you should caulk or seal up where necessary. This will help keep the warm air in and cold air out, in turn helping keep your electric bill steady! Replace the filter in your furnace and be sure it is working properly. Clean out your chimney and wood stoves if you have one! Wood burning fireplaces not only give off a cozy vibe but are a sure way to cut down electric expenses. Seal your decks to protect against those harsh winter elements - keep them safe to use when the warmer weather comes back around! These are only a couple of tasks to add to your to-do list but of course during the holiday seasons, extra chores are the last thing we want to do, so we’ll keep it short!
As we move into December, I cannot wait to discuss the season of giving as well as more helpful home tips for the colder months. Per usual, I am so excited to continue working with such fulfilling people & meeting more amazing individuals each day! Thank you again, so much!
